Google has announced that ‘parallel tracking’ will be mandatory for all AdWords accounts starting from October 30, 2018.

According to Google, with parallel tracking, users reach immediately to website’s landing page after clicking an ad while their browser processes URL tracking requests in the background.

Google has once again advised webmasters to adopt HTTPS encryption, the industry standard for ensuring the security and integrity of data traveling between the browser and the website.
