Yahoo is going to add Phone Out feature to its Yahoo Messenger with Voice. The new feature will allow users to make phone calls from their computer to traditional or mobile phones.

“PC-to Phone is almost here. Soon, (like very soon), you can call phones around the world from your PC.” says the Yahoo Messenger website.

Calls made to phones inside the U.S will cost $0.01 per minute. Calls made to 30 other countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia will cost around $0.02 per minute.

The new feature will also allow users to get one or more phone numbers for their computer so that they can receive phone calls from traditional or mobile phones. The cost is $2.99 per month. The cost per year to receive calls from traditional or mobile phones through Yahoo Messenger is $29.90 per year.
