The Massachusetts Institute of Technology will sponsor a search engine event in New York City.


The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) will sponsor a search engine event in New York City. The focus of the seminar will be on changes in search technology.

The four panelists of the event include:

Bradley Horowitz, Director of Technology Development, Search & Marketplace Group at Yahoo

Karen how, Vice President and General Manager, Singingfish, owned by AOL and in turn owned by Time-Warner

Salim Ismail, CEO of PubSub Concepts

Marissa Mayer, Director of Consumer Web Products at Google.

Richard Reisman, President of Teleshuttle Corp will moderate the discussion.

The forum will cover the expansion of search beyond its initial beginnings as a text-based service to all the newer features like video, audio, local, personal desktop and multitude of other types of search.

The event will be on Sep 28th at 6:00 p.m. until 7:45 p.m.
