In this SEO training course, Andy Bolton takes a case study approach. His site rose quickly to the top of Google in a niche with 12 million search results.

He was competing in a sub-niche of SEO. It’s very competitive, and many highly paid SEO professionals are competing for the top spot. Even against all these experts, he reached the number 1 spot in less than 6 months. The chances are that your niche isn’t as competitive, so you should do pretty well with this approach.

In How I got to number 1 in Google he walks you through his process for reaching the top spot.

With his step-by-step process, he says, you can accomplish the same kind of rise in the ranks with an hour a day. After you rise to the position you want, an hour a week is all it takes to remain there.

If you’re up-to-date on SEO, you’ll know that Google killed the effectiveness of many SEO tactics over the last year. Bolton’s site is still in the number 1 position, despite all the Google algorithm changes.

This course is delivered online, one lesson per day. Absorb the first less and implement it, then repeat with the successive 6 lessons that follow it. He is releasing 1 lesson per day, 4 so far; the other 3 this week. But that’s OK; you will want to implement each lesson before going on to the next one.

Throughout the course, he covers both HTML sites and WordPress sites, and he lists WordPress plugins that will help you implement his guidance.

This is a fresh look at SEO, and it punctures much of the conventional wisdom of SEO. If what you have been doing isn’t working, check out this new training here: How I got to number 1 in Google
