Bill Myers Tip of the Week – December 21, 2008

Don’t Work Through The Holidays!

If you are sitting at your desk reading this on the last weekend before the holidays – you are working too much.

One of the advantages of being an independent product developer is you have quite a bit of freedom in choosing how and when you work, or how and when you don’t work.

Sure, there are times when you absolutely have to work longer hours than you want, burning the midnight oil to finish a pressing project.

But now is not one of those times.

Now is the time to be with family, friends, and loved ones.

This is a special time for us all, and you owe it to yourself and the people in your life to spend time with them, not with your computer.

Here’s wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
