Rick Raddatz has announced that he needs a Project Manager for ‘Xiosoft’.
Now Hiring: Project Manager
Rick says, “We have an incredible team here at Xiosoft…
But we’re missing one person — someone to tie it all together.
A Project Manager!
Now… this is a very cool position. I know because this was the position I held through most of my 12 years at Microsoft.
It is essentially a “mini-CEO” — at least that’s how it was described to me at Microsoft”.
Job Requirements
Rick says, “Here’s the job in a nutshell..
– You will report directly to me and spend a lot of time with me discussing goals, vision, strategy, tactics, etc
– You will be a peer of your fellow team-leads, helping to make them all more productive and coordinated.
– Enthusiasm, professionalism, organization, street-smarts are all key.
– If you seek power over others, this is the wrong position for you. If you enjoy empowering others then this is the right job for you.
– If the project needs something, you find a way to get it done… and sometimes that means doing it yourself — progress and results are key. In other words, you are willing to get dirty and make things happen.
– You eat chaos for breakfast.
– This position is based in the Broomfield, Colorado office. That either means you already live here, or you are able to re-locate instantly and easily. (Broomfield is 10 miles from both Denver and Boulder)
– 5 weeks paid-vacation per year. (I do this to attract the BEST people)
– Compensation will be creative — probably more of a partnership than a salary. So I’m looking for people who have the financial strength and the vision to get in *now* to help build something amazing.
– I have not decided if I want this to be a junior position or a senior position. I shipped my first product at Microsoft when I was 20! But I also know the value of experience. So I’m open to all possibilities”.
How to Apply
Rick says, “If you are interested, please send a resume to work AT Xiosoft DOT com along with a cover letter (email text is fine) explaining (A) why you are the right one for the job, and (B) why this is the right job for you”.
