70.5% of the marketers are going to spend more on email acquisition in 2007. 72% of them aae planning to employ email marketing more in 2007, according to a Datran Media, survey.
Datran Media surveyed 1,500 marketing professionals from 50 different companies, including KPMG International, InfoUSA, QInteractive and Art.com.
Datran Media Survey Findings
Key findings of the Datran Media survey include:
– In 2007, 63% of the marketers are going to spend more on retention campaigns
– 50% of the respondents outsourced email marketing
– Marketers ranked Email optimization techniques, including landing pages, subject line testing and triggered messaging, as “very important”
– 83% were confident that email ROI will increase during 2007.
