What am I talking about?

Let me first start with what Rich Schefren just wrote. After you read this, then I’ll continue.

So let’s begin with Rich’s email, what we now call “The Manifesto’s Missing Page.”

Rich Letter Begins

“Wow! Where do I start… many people ask me all the time where did I get my start in internet marketing and how was I able to rise so quickly.

When I first got online I realized that there was an awful lot to learn, sure I had been successful in all my other businesses but I knew that the internet was different in the sense that I really needed to make sure I got a good grounding of the fundamental and did so from someone who had a real business up and running.

With that as my criteria it really was a no brainer to join Stephen Pierce’s Smart Marketing Coaching Club, which is now an exclusive club that is open by invitation only.

So I joined, I still remember the day, I spoke to Alicia Pierce, his wife, on the phone to sign up and get all the details. as soon I had access to the prior calls I went through each and every one meticulously – taking notes (in mindmaps) and making sure I really understood what it was that Stephen was recommending and teaching.

It was incredible and my knowledge grew so fast that when I found out that he was going to be speaking at Armand Morin’s Big Seminar I knew I had to come.

Then I found out that he was going to be at a golf day before the event so I signed up for that too, even though I have never lifted a golf club before.

It was a great time and I got to show Stephen the mindmaps I had created off of his teachings. I think he was a little taken back knowing that someone was following his every word as closely as I was.

To better understand his methods, I implemented smart pages, developed quite a few niches sites and made clearer connections in my own mind on how to implement and use his valuable content.

Time went on and as I made more money from what I learned from Stephen, Stephen and I became closer friends.

In a conversation with Jay Abraham I suggested that the 3 of us get together and do a live event online and that was really my initial launch onto the scene of internet marketing.

The one thing that really stands out in my mind is that Stephen is really good at identifying strategic strengths and used to always tell me that I already had the knowledge that people really wanted. What I knew about growing businesses was information that just wasn’t available to most internet marketers.

Stephen had to beat that into my head about a million times. But finally when I did a live presentation about business building, it all click together.

That’s why when I decided to do my first coaching program on business building it really was a no brainer.

As to where I wanted to launch it – at Stephen’s first live event called “Unleash Your Marketing Genius.”

It was a crazy time for me. The night before I got on stage my daughter Ava got sick and she had to be rushed to the hospital – she went into a seizure and collapsed right in front of my wife – it was really scary.

Well after catscans, MRIs, and every disgnostic tool that could be used Ava came up clean and we were dismissed from the hospital at 6am – which still left enough time for me to get back and be on stage by 8:30am.

That’s where I really got noticed and had some of the big names join my program. In fact, it was at Stephen’s event that Rob Bell (1ShoppingCart), Jim Edwards, Mike Filsame and others joined my first program.

Since that time I have gone on my way building strategic profits – but it all started for me with Stephen.

I remember Stephen insisting that I speak at the upcoming BigSeminar. He got on the phone with Armand, sent Armand a DVD and give me a really strong endorsement.

Next thing I knew, I was speaking at the BigSeminar and my business grow even bigger as people rushed out to sign up before I was event finished.

Time nor space allows for me to express my gratitude for what Stephen has meant to me and my business.

From flying to his house for strategy meetings to him trying to get me into playing video games, Stephen has been unwavering in his support and unselfish in his willingness to help me succeed.

That’s why asking him to introduce me when we stream our event to over 10,000 viewers was something that meant an awful lot to me.

When you go about building your business you’ll certainly develop some new friendships, some will last others won’t – but my relationship with Stephen has continued to grow because he’s as dynamic as I am.

We are always sharing our latest discoveries, the new books we’ve just read, or the sites we’ve found and I know he is always their to challenge me, test me and give me new perspectives to build an even bigger business.

Stephen has been my mentor, my coach, my closest friend, and a confidant that I have always had in my corner.
