Skype has launched its first ‘Skype for Business showcase’ in conjunction with Lewis & Hickey, an international architects firm.
The showcase demonstrates how Skype helps employees and customers to communicate in a real-life office setting, according to Skype.
The showcase includes live demonstrations of conference calls, video calls, IM chat and file transfer.
Paul Miele, Chief Executive, Lewis & Hickey, said: “We were keen to use Skype because we knew we could save a lot of money on our telephone bills. But now we have the whole business using Skype, the benefits are far greater than just cost savings.
Skype has made communicating a more personable affair. Rather than just picking up the phone and talking with colleagues or customers, we all feel that we are building stronger relationships”. [source]
