Skype has launched ‘Skype 2.5 Beta for Mac’ with outbound SMS text messages and 10-way conference calling.

– Skype SMS – Users can send an SMS message to any mobile phone number in the world.

– 10-Way Conference Calling – Users can hold conference calls with up to nine other people. Calls can be made to Skype contacts for free and to landlines and mobiles for a fee, via SkypeOut.

– Audio Device Controls – Users can choose which audio device they want to use for incoming and outbound calling.
