– Reply on top – Google has added ‘reply’ link right on top

– New message notifications – provides a notification that a new message has arrived

– Forward all – enables users to forward the entire conversation instead of just one message

– Chat even when your friends are offline – users can send offline messages

– Gmail on mobile phone – users can access their email on their mobile. It has the same Gmail interface.
