How To Write Powerful Joint Venture Proposals
Did you know that, many joint venture offers end up in the ‘Trash’ folder not because of poor products, but poor joint venture proposals.
Joint venture (JV) has been proven to be one of the most effective methods to gain business quickly and easily.
In a nutshell, JV is powerful because it enables you to leverage on other people’s time, money, effort and anything else.
But there is a problem. Problem of writing a powerful JV proposal to get your potential partner to say ‘Yes’ to your offer.
Here are 5 important ‘ingredients’ you should have if you want your proposal to be more powerful:
#1. Give more than normal.
Don’t think about yourself. Make your potential Jv partner the advantage of gaining more benefits from you. If you are offering commission, give more than 50% commission. If you are building a database, give him the possibility to gain more than you.
Don’t just think win/win. Think how they can win much more than you do.
#2. Do you have any perks?
Let’s say, you are trying to ‘recruit’ a potential partner into a paid membership so that he/she can
endorse it to his/her list as well. What perks can you offer him/her?
How can you differentiate yourself from several other members of the same program?
Example of a perk you can do is, pay for him/her the membership site’s fee for the first month so that he/she can try it out. If he/she gets hooked and endorses it, you’ll get many times the return. If not, all you lose is the fee of a month’s membership.
#3. Make them like you.
Even though if you have a super valuable product but your potential JV partners don’t like you, I don’t think he’ll accept your offer. Why?
There are thousands of similar products of yours he can sell! So, your product is not really exclusive in that aspect.
How to make them like you?
If you can, buy their products. Normally, everyone treats their customers special. If you have become their customer, I believe you’ll get special treatment or personal attention.
But if you cannot afford to buy their products, at least subscribe to their newsletter. Here’s a secret you can use. Send an email recommending their site to your friends (you can use cc) and bcc your potential Jv partner. This way, you’ll gain his attention and he’s probably willing to hear your proposal.
#4. Short and sweet.
Don’t write a long Jv proposal. I personally, deleted those long letters without reading them. You must understand and respect your potential jv partner’s time. You must always assume they are very busy People. Get to the point. Write a short, specific and ‘sweet’ proposal.
#5. Gain credibility first.
If possible, quote some other names familiar to your potential Jv partner that they have accepted your proposal. The reason is, not many people like to be the first person to promote your product if it’s a new one without proven facts to work. If someone has tried it with success, this will lower their risk on getting backfired promoting your product.
Use these 5 ingredients and I’m convinced that Your Jv proposal will get more ‘yes’ responses from today.
