David Hallerman, senior analyst at eMarketer and author of the “Search Marketing: Players and Problems” report, said: “Concerns about click fraud and privacy are two sticking points that will potentially chip away at, if not halt, the growth of search engine marketing. All is not rosy in the search business.” [Source]
The report also predicted that Google will make up 57% of total U.S spending on paid search advertising in 2006. The report said that Yahoo will make up 27% of total U.S spending.
