Yahoo! Kimo Responsible for 52% of Online Advertising
Yahoo! Kimo is responsible for 52% of online advertising sales, according to the company’s managing director Rose Tsou. Internet surfing accounts for 30% of user’s time per week in Taiwan.

Rose Tsou said: “Yahoo! Kimo is the largest provider of e-commerce, search and on-line advertising services in Taiwan, with these services accounting for 88% of its 2005 total revenue.”

According to Yvonne Chang, Vice President of Yahoo! Kimo, a survey of media use in Taiwan showed that internet surfing accounts for 30% of user’s time per week.
Yvonne Chang, said: “The total spent on on-line advertising currently accounts for only 5% of total advertising budgets, implying a large market potential for on-line advertising in Taiwan, Chang noted. Last year, Yahoo! Kimo had 555 clients of on-line advertising and more than 6,000 clients of key-word search-based advertising.” [Source]
