Google is investigating a fake foreign website that has copied Google’s trademark logo and homepage design.

The site site which seems to be from Eastern Europe includes links to the original Google search engine, if users look for an English version.

A spokesperson from Google said, “This site is not owned, operated or controlled by Google. We are aware of this site and our legal counsel is investigating the matter.” [Source]

The fake search engine includes text advertising in its homepage, which is different from the original Google homepage.

The fake search engine provides search functions and delivers results that may be from the original Google search engine. The search results are a mixture of English and a foreign language.
