Blogads Survey has found that 5.1 percent of 30,000 blog readers were lawyers or judges and 6.1 percent of over 6000 blog owners were in the legal profession.

Blogads has found out of the 30,000 blog readers, who paticipated voluntarily in a survey, 5.1 percent were lawyers or judges.

The survey also found that out of the 6,232 people who said they also kept their own blogs, 6.1 percent said they were in the legal profession.

Blogads administers online advertising on blog sites. It had conducted a survey to find out information related to blog readers.

Lawyers and judges came fourth after computer professionals, students and retirees. Among blog owners also lawyers were fourth behind people from the field of education,17.5%, computer software, 15.1%, and media, 6.4%.

According to Henry Copeland, founder of A survey conducted by Blogads, the survey was hardly scientific.

The New York Times has reported that Henry “argued that at least it undermined the popular image of the blogosphere as dominated by antsy teenagers and programmers in their pajamas, tapping away at keyboards all night”.

Mr. Hinderaker of Power Line Blog said, “Good lawyers write well, quickly and clearly and do not fear arguments.

Most people’s personalities are such that they don’t really like conflict and are shy about putting arguments and opinions out in public where they’re going to be attacked. Obviously lawyers do that all the time”.
