A recently conducted Clutch survey has revealed several interesting facts about the content marketing segment. According to Clutch, content marketing affects three key factors in the customer journey; they are value, intent and action.

Here are the findings from the Clutch survey:

  • 67% of people believe that content marketing is useful and valuable
  • 55% people said they are likely to research a company after consuming content marketing
  • 86% of the people said that they have purchased a product due to content marketing
  • On the other hand 33% believe that content marketing is biased and unreliable
  • But 73% people have purchased a product as a result of content marketing, despite thinking it has no value.
