Sad News and Other Info

Some sad news to share today – Gary Halbert has passed away. He was one of the great copywriters of our time and he’s someone that I personally learned a lot from when Rich Schefren first gave me the assignment to learn how to write compelling sales copy. Sympathies go out to all who knew him in our industry.

On a lighter note, we’ve had a dropout in the April Squidoo challenge, so there’s now 1 opening for the Non-Profit & Volunteer category. First person who signs up at the blog (in the comments section) can have it: http://www.socialmarketing101.com/blog. One thing I noticed is a lot of people worrying about traffic. It’s the core of our business success on the ‘net, isn’t it? I push a lot of social networking strategies because it’s a method that gets you in with your consumer base directly and your traffic is highly targeted to your niche.

But it’s not enough. You need to bookmark your links to make your networking viral. I recently started doing this after I read Craig Desorcy’s new eBook about social bookmarking. I’ll tell you more about it when I get my results in, but so far, it seems to be working!

I’ve already sold 6 of my WSOs, so anyone else wanting to purchase it will be delivered on week 7. You can find out more here: http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=145231

Take care,
Tiff 🙂
