Yahoo! has released a new version of Yahoo! Mail in beta. Yahoo! Mail beta features a new interface and online calendar integration.

Key features of Yahoo! Mail beta include:

– ‘Enhanced speed and performance

– Calendar timeline view within e-mail interface

– Enables users to view a map of a meeting or event location within the calendar timeline

– Protection from spam and viruses

– New welcome page and ‘Quick Start’ user guide

– Drag-and-drop message organization

– Reading pane to instantly view messages

– Enables users to search e-mail headers, bodies, and attachments

– Allows users to have multiple e-mail messages open at the same time and view them using tabbed navigation

– Integrated RSS reader

– Automatic check and delivery of new mail

– Keyboard shortcuts and right-click menus

– Address autocomplete

– Available on Firefox and Internet Explorer
