Google has announced a partnership with the United Negro College Fund to create the UNCF/Google Scholarship Program.


Google has announced a partnership with the United Negro College Fund to create the UNCF/Google Scholarship Program.

The program will provide financial help to the African-American students to pursue an engineering degree, according to Google blog.

The UNCF/Google Scholarship Program will award $5,000 scholarships to the students enrolled in their junior year of undergraduate study at a UNCF Member College or University.

Google has invited the students to apply for the scholarships. Students can apply from uncf.org.

The last date to send the applications is Friday, October 6, 2006.
