Google has launched three new products, Google Co-op Beta, Google Desktop 4 Beta and Google Notebook Beta. Google aims at enhancing and improving search experience with the new products.

Google Co-op Beta is an online community which allows users to contribute their knowledge. Organizations, businesses and individuals can label relevant web pages or create links to which users can subscribe.

Once a user subscribes to a provider’s content, all the labels and subscribed links of the provider are added to the user’s search results for relevant queries.

“For example, a doctor can label web pages related to arthritis, and users who subscribe to that doctor’s information will receive options at the top of the results for more specific information such as “treatment,” “symptoms,” or “for health professionals” when they enter a relevant query.” [Source]

Google Co-op is available on Google’s English language domains, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

Google Desktop 4 Beta allows users to personalize their desktops with Google Gadgets. The gadgets are mini-applications on a user’s desktop which deliver personalized information, including games, media players, weather and the news.

Google Desktop 4 also recommends new gadgets and can also automatically create a personalized homepage for users based on their frequently searched subjects and access.

Google Desktop also allows users to disable Search Across Computers at the network level by blocking access to a particular URL.

Google Notebook allows users to save and organize their thoughts when they conduct a research online. The personal browser allows users to clip text, images, and links from web pages they are browsing, and save them to an online “notebook”. The notebook is accessible from any computer and users can share their notebook with other users.

Google Notebook is available next week, according to the press release. It will be available at http://www.google.com/notebook
