Google new shares arrived on trading market, Nasdaq dropped 3.18 points and Google closed at $302.62, 28 cents lower than its open.


Google shares in the trading market opened at $302.90 and closed 28 cents lower and Nasdaq dropped 3.18 points.

The Wall Street Journal expects Google to reach the target of $4.18 billion as investment bankers hold an option to sell 600,000 shares.

Scott Kessler of BusinessWeek says that Google could spend about $700 million in acquisitions and the introduction of new payment or classified services.

It is also assumed that Google shares may have felt a little impact from a New York Post story on a potential Microsoft/AOL partnership.
