Veteran technology journalist John Battelle has written a book “The Search”, about Google and notes, “The only thing Google has failed to do, so far, is fail.”


Wired News reports, “Journalist John Battelle’s “The Search” is a surprisingly gripping story of hackers turning insights about information into a billion-dollar business and giant corporations shaping the web to their profit models.

Battelle, a longtime tech journalist, became fascinated with Google and spent three years wandering Silicon Valley, talking to the wizards, the investors and the naysayers.”

“The Search” excavates some intriguing new details about Google, culled from interviews with more than 350 people including Google’s chief executive Eric Schmidt and co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
