Google has released Featured Content for Google Earth to enable users access information about the world from various content providers.


Google has released Featured Content for Google Earth to enable users access information about the world from various content providers.

Users can access the information by selecting “˜Featured Content’ checkbox in the Google Earth sidebar. The feature will enable the users to click on individual locations and learn about the specific location.

The new feature on Google Earth will provide the information from the following content providers:

– “˜United Nations Environmental Program

– Discovery Networks World Tour

– National Park Service

– Jane Goodall Institute’.
