Podbridge has launched an ad network. The new service is based on ad-serving technologies and includes the ability to track the number of listens, place ads by demographic and location, rotate multiple ads, and manage campaign budgets.

Andy Lipset, co-founder of Ronning Lipset Radio, said: “Advertisers have become increasingly interested in podcasting, but until now there hasn’t been a viable solution for them.

According to Forrester Research, podcasting will reach 12.3 million households by 2010, as broadband reaches 62% of households.

According to Parks Associates, Internet advertising is expected to account for 10% of the overall U.S. market by 2010. In 5 years, online advertising revenues will reach $23.5 billion.
