Jupiter Research’s findings show that online advertising will be an $18.9 billion market by 2010 and spending on PPC ads will overtake spending on impression-based ads.


Jupitar Research has analyzed online advertising and says, “Online advertising will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 9.6 percent over the next five years, generating $18.9 billion in 2010. Outside of classifieds, local ad spending online remains relatively immature”.

Forecast reveals that projected spending in 2010 will double the $9.3 billion spent on online advertising in 2004.
