IAC has acquired a 51% stake and full voting control of Connected Ventures, parent company of CollegeHumor.com.


IAC has acquired a 51% stake and full voting control of Connected Ventures, parent company of CollegeHumor.com.

The companies haven’t disclosed the terms of the transaction.

CollegeHumor.com provides comedic content in the form of videos, pictures, articles and jokes to its audience of college students and graduates.

The site gets 6 million monthly unique users and generates 200 million monthly page views, according to IAC.

CollegeHumor.com provides online advertisers with different ad categories with for reaching the young population.

CollegeHumor founders Josh Abramson and Ricky Van Veen will continue to to work with Connected Ventures operations.

Connected Ventures operates online content and retail properties, including CollegeHumor.com.

IAC operates businesses in sectors being transformed by the internet, online and offline. Ask.com is operated by IAC.
