Content Marketing Institute has published a new video, ‘An AI-Generated Travel Guide Disaster Brings Lesson in Ethical Content Creation’.

The CMI team says, “Microsoft pulled the AI slot machine for an Ottawa travel guide. It spun out many articles, but none worse than the one recommending a food bank as a stop for vacationers. “This is a perfect example of how AI can generate text but be completely unaware of context. It’ll summarize and suggest things, but fundamentally, it doesn’t understand that a food bank isn’t an appropriate destination for a vacation,” says Tom Neff, principal product manager at Brightspot. Tom joined his colleague Tiffany Holbrook, director of product marketing, for a recent Content Marketing Institute webinar, What Does Ethical Content Creation Look Like in an AI World.”
