Combine Blog and Video for Better Marketing Results
Video content represents the most segment in the content marketing initiatives. According to HubSpot, 50% marketers are creating YouTube and Facebook channels for distributing video. And 33% mention video content creation as their top priority for the coming year.
HubSpot’s Jamee Sheehy, Nick Carney and Sophia Bernazzani combined blog and video content to see the impact of blog content when transformed into video. They posted the transformed video content on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram Stories and found that content distribution increased significantly.
Here are their findings from seven videos they published:
- YouTube video contributed more blog traffic than the Facebook video
- Facebook video drove a meaningful portion of views to the blog post on the day it was published.
