Don’t believe the rumors!

Whatever they tell you…

It’s a lie!

NicheBOT has not been de-commissioned!

See, I got misunderstood again in something I said in an email.

NicheBOT is not shutting down at all, and in fact, is no longer even going to be considered the best keyword tool.

I guess instead of saying that NicheBOT was being de-commissioned as a “tool” – I should have said that it was really being upgraded to a “Suite” and currently the only one of its kind.

You’ll understand what I mean below with just one of the upgrades and you’ll discover how you can be one of the first to find out the new site that is launching next week and how you can get a peak before the general public does (one of the many benefits of being on our subscriber mailing list to receive The Keyword Informer).

There is also a special deal at the end of this article you don’t want to miss because NicheBOT’s price are about increase 25% at 11:59 p.m. January 23, 2009. And if you have been receiving our emails, then yes, this is that special deal I was mentioning.

So let’s get to what this article is really about – the Web 2.0 thing.

Are you still on the fence wondering whether you should finally hop on board the Web 2.0 bandwagon in 2009?

Are you still lost and wondering what the heck Web 2.0 really is and how to make sense of all the different things you are reading out there?

Can Web 2.0 really result in bottom line increased profits for you?

Here’s what I say – – – Don’t hold your breath!

You’ll remember that last year, about halfway through the year, I explained why I hadn’t recommended a single Web 2.0 course or product to date.

And the reason was simple.

I saw no merit in blowing a lot of extra time to learn something that takes a lot of skill to develop, it takes a method and a process and a lot of extra time (which most people don’t have) to develop meaningful website traffic from a social network unless the fundamentals of website promotion are mastered first.

Sure – fine…

If you have mailing list and you have a presence already built up, by all means, dig in and have profiles setup at some of these places like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. Heck, it can be a great way to meet people and get in conversations with other like-minded people. I have no objection to it at all.

It’s one thing to have profiles made up to have as an add-on to your site, it’s another to adopt this as a complete website promotion technique and do it as part of your primary activities.

But if you are still in the beginning stages, I would highly recommend you stay away from Web 2.0 for now. It’s really easy to get distracted and lose a lot of time when you could be doing other things to build a real presence through publishing content and content distribution. (It’s your content on your site that sells – not your Facebook Profile.) And all my long time subscribers know that true search engine power is developed through building valuable backlinks (those hyperlinks that point back to your site with your preferred keyword phrase in it).

The web changes so fast and with Web 2.0, it can change so fast, your head can start spinning from keeping up.

I just said, “There’s no way!”

Look, it was just this past week I read an article I found on Twitter of how Google just recently put the pressure on Twitter to “no follow” the outbound links in the profiles of its members. This means that anyone who tried to take advantage of Twitter by creating thousands of accounts with links pointing to their sites just lost that plan.

It’s stuff like this people have to think about before getting involved with some magical Web 2.0 product.

When people discuss the search engine power that can be achieved through social bookmarking, it’s sorta unclear as to how long those search engine listings last, if even a month.

And here’s why it’s shifty and unclear – it’s because spammers are constantly trying to exploit loopholes in the system and the third party resources that are being used in the process have employees and programmers that must fight back and stop the abuse.

The next time someone comes out with some fancy web 2.0 solution that will get you gobs of endless traffic, putting all your financial worries to bed, think twice about buying it!

That technique could last a month, or two, at best!

So what is this Web 2.0 thing really?

I like to refer to it as the web outside the static world.

Web 1.0 relates to a site that has no interactivity.

You view the site. It maybe has an email link to contact the site owner, but beyond that, there’s no real way for you to interact with the site nor have a way to even contribute content to the site.

The only way the site could be altered is by the website owner making the change himself.

With a Web 2.0 site, a visitor has a way to interact and leave comments and opinions on the site, much like you see at Amazon.com when someone leaves a review.

Web 2.0 is an interactive world and allows the content of the web to expand without website owners necessarily changing their web pages.

And what’s funny is people made Web 2.0 sound shiny and new last year and the year before when it was around quite some time before then.

A forum is Web 2.0 – right? It’s interactive and allows the users to build content.

Blogs, which have been around for quite sometime before they become popularized, are web 2.0.

Social bookmark sites where people can bookmark their favorite places on the web in an online environment rather than using their browser is another interactive environment (community). This was the first place that SEO-minded people went first to take advantage of getting inbound links back in 2005/2006.

And thanks to publications disseminated by Internet Marketers, the Social Bookmark sites closed off all avenues for website owners could get any backlink power from their social bookmark sites.

Since that avenue got shut off to website owners, the next wave of educational products released in the last year were about social networks and how to network and tap into the huge traffic of sites like Facebook, Digg, with Twitter being all the rave now.

The only problem with this technique of building a huge friend and networking base at any one of the big sites is that it can consume a huge amount of your time.

One of the biggest places right now to build a following is Tweeter and I know some folks with no mailing lists that have built up 10,000+ followers.

But then I went to go look at this guy’s profile and in the past 9 months, he’s got like 3,629 updates (which means those are individual microblog entries he had to create), and I’m thinking geez, that’s gotta be a lot of time involved. What does this guy do for a living to make money? 😀

Putting all this extra time into something that may not end up in bottom line profits sounds half-cocked to me. In fact, I have confirmed with several experts that they do not see that much residual traffic, let alone BUYING TYPE traffic coming from these social networking or social bookmark type sites. And since there are “no follow” tags being employed at places like Twitter, you might as well use a tracking link to see if any real meaningful traffic can be produced.

To me, the real result I want to see with Web 2.0 is how to acquire top search engine rankings for keyword phrases tightly related to my site.

But I want search engine rankings that stick and don’t fizzle out in a week or two or even six months from now.

I’ve been waiting for someone to come out with some course that cracks the code (in such a way that doesn’t burn the technique out).

It seems everyone has some product or some course on how to take advantage of all that social bookmarking traffic and all that social networking traffic.

Some will teach you how to dominate a conversation on Google by having 20 of the top listings for a keyword phrase by using various third party services using video submissions, social bookmarking, etc.

And yeah, sure, it works great – for about a week!

Then the search engine rankings fall and then what? Blast away and spam the heck out of third party services again just to burn through some more accounts.

It’s a dangerous way to live and not too many people have the nerve to go BIG.

And late last year, I was speaking with one of my inner circle folks and he was telling me that he has such a technique that holds top search engine rankings, for months and months!

Talk about music to my ears!

I curiously asked, well, “How are you going to share the secret or do you?”

He said, “Well, I really only share it with exclusive paid clients that pay me hundreds of dollars because I personally walk them through the process.”

And we were talking about certain projects and the release of a certain report surrounding Google Hot Trends and how the contents of that report tied in very much with his stealthy Web 2.0 stealth techniques.

So I asked him (let’s call him “Mr. X” for now) – I asked if he would personally walk a small exclusive group of my people through his Web 2.0 magic so that this doesn’t get exposed to too many people, thus ruining it for the small bunch – and you won’t believe what he said?! 😉

I got a resounding “Yes”!

But there is a qualifier that you will have to jump through to even get to the Introduction Call where we discuss the entire strategy and the background on what he does.

And since the beginning pieces of his entire process to make Web 2.0 tactics stick in the search engines are contained in the Hot Trends Report, everyone who grabs the report will be invited to the Introduction Call where the foundation of the process will be laid and the Mastery Call will be held.

You can, of course, grab the Hot Trends Report itself and qualify to be invited to the call.

But that’s absolutely NOT what you want to do.

Here’s why.

Following the email that brought you to this web page, you will get an offer for a special bundle deal price for the following:

1. The Hot Trends Report and Videos that started this whole thing

2. A fully loaded NicheBOT Gold Keyword Research Account (for new account holders only)

3. Access to the Live Coaching Show to Get Direct Help from Four On-Staff Experts

4. Exclusive “First Look” Access to features inside NicheBOT that are found within the NEW (not even launched) Trends Research Center at WatchLiveTrends.com ($67 per month value) included inside your NicheBOT account.

Once you check out the WatchLiveTrends.com site out, you’ll begin to clearly see why NicheBOT is now referred to as a Suite, not a keyword tool. 😉

This will be a package valued well over $180 and will be available for the cost of the Hot Trends Report and Videos at $17 and you can preview the salesletter about the Hot Trends – Instant Cash Report here.

And the only way to be invited to the Exclusive Introduction Call that unveils the Web 2.0 Formula that Sticks in the Search is by getting the report.

Hang tight for an email with the URL to the special deal. (This way, the offer is exclusive and available to those who are on our free subscriber list and I also do not want to have a link to the page so the page is not indexed by the search engines.)

Look, getting the Hot Trends report and videos are cool and it’s not going to set you back much at $17.

But getting in on the report, the introduction call with Mr. X and the special NicheBOT bundle package is the deal you do NOT want to miss.
