David says, “There is a terrible misconception that exists among many affiliate/internet marketers that the most popular search terms make the best keywords or keyword phrases for their Adwords campaign. Now, it is true that more searches usually mean that there is more potential traffic out there, but popularity doesn’t take into account competition. An Adwords advertiser would be better served to select the most effective keyword and keyword phrases, not the most popular”.
