Press Release

Mark Ress Attends Idea Incubator in Anaheim, CA February 1st-3rd, 2008

Well this is my FIRST Idea Incubator and I must say that so far I am impressed with the caliber of speakers Stu has been able to bring together. We first got a surprise treat by listening to an unannounced BONUS speaker Rory Cohen who is an Idea Incubator alumn. Even though Rory did not get 90 minutes like all the other speakers were scheduled for, she did an execellent job. The ONE thing I must say that stuck out to me about what she shared todaythe first day of the Idea Incubator was about NOT needing MORE information but TRANSFORMATION which was SO POWERFUL to me. I hope that the other Idea Incubator attendees got that nugget today!

Next at the Idea Incubator we were treated to Simon Leung, Alex Mandossian, Michael and Sylvie Fortin whom I enjoyed probably the most in reference to what I gravitated to. What Michael and Sylvie shared today at the Idea Incubator was very similar to what I always stress to my students, clients and IMCC members. The IMCC (Internet Marketing Coaching Club) is the only FREE Internet Marketing Coaching Club which I have been running for a little more than 10 months without charging folks for the information. Now back to the Idea Incubator. The Fortins did a really nice job sharing information on developing your ‘buyer persona’ which I enjoyed a lot on this the first day of the Idea Incubator.

The New Rules of Marketing and PR:

How to Use News Releases, Blogs, Podcasting, Viral Marketing and Online Media to Reach Buyers Directly

Then FINALLY we ended day one of the Idea Incubator with Jermaine Griggs, Armand Morin and Ray Edwards sharing a wealth of THEIR MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR knowledge. I have to say for my first Idea Incubator so far so good. I plan tomorrow, day 2 of the Idea Incubator, to actually do an interview or two of some of the attendees to get THEIR feedback on the Idea Incubator.

This has been Mark Ress reporting on the Idea Incubator here in Anaheim California. If you would like information on Stu McLaren’s Idea Incubator you can go to his website which is http://www.ideaseminar.com.

Mark Ress Continues His Report from the Idea Incubator Day 2 & 3

Well after spending a marathon 19 hours on Saturday at the hotel where the Idea Incubator was held in Anaheim California I must say that I was EXHAUSTED to say the least. BUT, it did not end there. I woke up late on Sunday after going to sleep about 5:00 a.m. to arrive at 9:00 a.m. on Day 3 of the Idea Incubator. Just to let you know that those of us who were there were beyond dedicated to our own successes BECAUSE Day 3 was Super Bowl Sunday and instead of enjoying the game we were attending Stu McLaren’s Idea Incubator but I for one can say that without regret.

I got to have dinner with Matt Bacak and several others on Saturday. I also got to share some time on Saturday with fellow attendees sharing my knowledge, experience and know-how when it comes to what I do in order to make money from home. I did not leave the event til 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning only to return a few hours later!

Now I pretty much enjoyed all the speakers but I do have to point out the two that stuck out the most to me! Those were Rory Cohen who again was an unofficial addition and Sylvie Fortin who I think ROCKED IT! These two phenomenal women shared some REAL insights about the psychology of getting past what is holding you back and also how to identify your buyer/market and giving them what they want as oppose to what you THINK they want. It was POWERFUL stuff.

I want to give Stu McClaren a shout out for putting on a great event from my perspective AS WELL as creating an awesome environment for networking. He even went as far as allowing all the attendees to promote their businesses, services and or web sites which I thought was BEYOND cool. Stu you are the man for that one bro!

I of course promoted my upcoming seminar for Newbies to Expert status which you can get more information on here: http://www.Newbie2ExpertStatus.com and I also promoted my web promotion service business called Slam Your Sites! You can get more information about that here: http://www.SlamYourSites.com and take advantage of my outsourced team of web marketing pros!

Well I will be back once I get through all my notes to share more insights I received from the Idea Incubator but just have to say that even though I missed the Super Bowl game (caught the end though) it was defintely worth it especially listening and learning from Sylvie and Michael Fortin.

I must interject that I think and believe Sylvie Fortin is an amazing woman and beyond intelligent. She really knows her stuff and Michael Fortin is a very blessed man to have such an awesome lady by his side and in his life. God bless the both of you and your family!!

Rory Cohen thanks for being such a beautiful and giving soul. You too are an amazing woman who has so much to give and I recommend your services to ANYONE needing to figure out what is holding them back from their GREATNESS!!
