Sunday Email Part 17

If you’re new to my subscription and wondering what is a “Sunday Email”, it’s an email full of my rants, personal tips and opinions on marketing especially in the “internet marketing” niche. Sometimes, opinions on life. Whatever it is… it’ll give you value after reading it.

You know– sometimes my Sunday Emails can be harshed. Cuts through like a ninja’s blade. But come on, they’re my rants. If I want to keep everyone happy and write about the colorful rainbow, birds chirping, flowers blooming, etc then I should just opens up a nursery home and take care of children.

So if you can relate to what I wrote when reading it– good because I know it had just served the purpose of helping people.

One more thing– it’ll offend marketers. I hope you’re not the one.

Re: Liars And Scammers

I was angry. Mad.

And upset because of unethical marketers in the ‘business opportunity’ and ‘internet marketing’ niche.

I’ve found out several websites of ‘marketers’ are lying to their prospects right in front of them and getting away.

Before I go in the details, I want you to understand why this is so upsetting. The prospects are buying because they’re seeking ways to learn how to make more money in their life. Basically, they’re putting their trust on someone’s marketing message. Or it could be their hard earned savings.

Because of the sleazy salesletters and all kind of psychology commands, the prospect ends up buying. But the problem is, they’re not going to be rich learning from these snake oil salesmen who don’t know what they’re teaching. They’re simply, excellent marketers.

You see, I’ve found out that there are sites showing clickbank.com stats or sales statement which are not accurate. In a non-polite word, they’re fake. Made up numbers.

Or pictures of their cars and mansions.

I’m not sure– But I think in certain countries, these people can go to jail for doing that. Lying.

The worst one I’ve seen is using a pseudo name and a fake picture of themselves living their ‘lifestyle’. The pictures are probably models they got somewhere.

Pseudo names are not wrong to be used for the purpose of hiding indentity. But I mean, if that person is stuggling to make ends meet each month but uses someone else’s picture of driving a Mercedes and claim that’s his car, that’s a whole different story. Or grab someone’s picture happily chilling out at the Carribean and says it’s him drinking the pino colada by the beach. You get what I mean?

That is just BAD. Really bad. Preying on innocent victims to be rich. What happen to being ethical on the internet? That’s the problem with people getting the wrong idea of ‘hiding behind a computer’.

It works because they are using the power of greed and envy.

Now, if the sales statement graphics are real, it’s good to use for the purpose of marketing and inspiration. Like, Yanik’s sales are real. I’ll talk more about him later on.

My advice?

Be smart. Don’t get ‘hook’ with the sales pitch. Do some research first before you buy anything. I mean, check out WHO IS the person that you’re buying from to make sure he’s genuine and not some crappy dude trying to get his hand on your credit cards.

Google.com is just in front of you. Use it.

Check his previous customers.

Read whether there are testimonials from other marketers you trust.

Vent’s off.

Re: I Lost At The Bonus War

Last night, I just bought a $37 product because one marketer was offering $497 bonus for anyone purchasing from his affiliate link.

I bought it right away. To be frank, I have NO intention to buy the $37 product at all. Until I saw that crazy bonus. Didn’t even bother for me to read the salesletter but I’m buying for the bonus offered by his JV partner.

Now-if you’re trying to sell the $37 product as an affiliate, where do you think you’ll stand? Hmm. Maybe you’ll sell a lot if you have a $497 bonus. Or put it this way– if you’re WILLING to do that stunt because it’ll kill your own product instantly. I mean, who’s gonna buy your $497 if they can get it for $37? So be ready to get hate emails from those who bought at the original price last time (smile).

That is the competitive world of internet marketing niche. And people are thinking HOW EASY to squeeze some money out of it. Yeah, sure.

You know that creating and selling your own info-product is the most profitable business you can be in. Heck, that’s WHAT I AM DOING. I’m selling info-products to you all the time. And the person who knows this best who I consider a 100% genuine marketer is Yanik Silver.

So when Yanik released the Info Players Workshop Course, I promoted it right away. It’s a GREAT course and I do believe in the value that he’s giving. As a matter of fact, you should consider it if your budget permits. Now because it’s a high priced product, I’ve created my own new bonus worth $4,997 to be offered for anyone using my affiliate link to buy. I thought I’ll be the #1 affiliate because the bonus is HUGE. I end up #7 as of today.

I was shock. The bonus offered was a 2-day workshop where I’ll share my “underground” money making ideas, killer tactics and business growth strategies. Over 10 clients have already paid to attend.

If you want to grab Yanik’s package to get the bonus or just to see what’s being offered,

Then it hit my mind– anything that you’re doing is transparent on the internet. Whatever bonuses that you’re offering can be offered by another marketer and he can increase the value if he wants. Sometimes, they don’t need to add more but create different types of creative bonuses. And it’s obvious I know this method because that’s what I’ll do to win. Whether it’s sleazy or intelligent, doesn’t matter because it’ll make your commission bigger.

So whoever is willing to give more or better will probably win the game. Is that the kind of market you want to be competing in? Something to think about, eh.

At the same time, there are other affiliates that sell more than you EVEN with poorer bonuses!

“Are you saying that I should NOT be in the internet marketing niche, Patric?”

No, that would be silly. I’m just telling you what I’m experiencing and my observation. It’s a Sunday Email, dude. That’s all. Just know of the current situation and you can do whatever you want rather than believing that the sky’s always sunny.

So What’s The Solution?

I don’t know because it really depends on what you want to do. But I know what I’m doing. I don’t want to be competing that way simply because I know if I use the same resources and energy elsewhere, I’ll MAKE MORE. Let my Ego speaks a while– it’s not that I’m losing out on the competition, it’s just not worth the hassle.

The answer is in niche marketing. But so many people are still doing the same ol niche marketing with the typical salesletter trying to sell an info-product with the mindset of how to get them to buy. It works. And it’ll always work.

But is there any room for improvement?

The answer lies in Niche Marketing 2.0. I wanted to prepare that presentation in today’s Sunday Email but unfortunately, I’m not able to allocate the time to complete it. This new concept was brought up by me when I was speaking at Stephen Pierce’s Unleash Your Marketing Genius Event last week.

And in a couple of days, I will be traveling again to speak at Jo Han Mok and Matt Bacak’s 3-day Internet Millionaire Incubator Seminar. So I’m not too sure when this can be ready for you to see. To make sure you get it for free, subscribe now at www.NicheTwoPointZero.com

If you have been reading the “Sunday Email” series, I’ll always ask for your favor to leave a Comment if you find value of what you’ve read. It’ll be most appreciated because I read all of them personally. (smile)
