Testing On Your Lead Capture Pages

If you’ve heard it once you heard it a number of times and that is…. TEST, TEST, TEST!

Anyone who follows John Reese has heard him say this over and over again. I first heard him talk about this in his Traffic Secrets course (no longer available) It was the first time I started to understand what he was saying and why it was so important to test. Since then I have been testing most everything I do online.

Okay, back to what I was saying

Sometimes we have a tendency to focus on only what’s coming in as far as revenue and not give to much thought as to ways we can work smarter. One of the ways we can work smarter is by testing.

Now the most common way of testing is the “A/B Split” method. This is where you would test “A” against “B”. An example would be if we wanted to test the headline on your web page. We would create headline “A” and then headline “B”. Then the one that got the most actions when displayed on the page would be the winner.
