Facebook and Ziddio.com, a user-generated video site launched by Comcast Interactive Media, are going to launch a new television series titled “Facebook Diaries”.


Facebook and Ziddio.com, a user-generated video site launched by Comcast Interactive Media, are going to launch a new television series titled “Facebook Diaries”.

Facebook Diaries will allow Facebook users to upload, view, share and rate the videos. Facebook and Ziddio.com will feature the selected videos online, and on television including Comcast’s ON DEMAND service, according to Facebook.

The videos submitted by the Facebook users will form the basis for Facebook Diaries.

Owen Van Natta, chief operating officer, Facebook, said: “Video sharing is extremely popular among Facebook’s 16 million users.Through our partnership with Comcast, we are making it even easier for the Facebook community to share video content in a trusted online environment and giving them the opportunity to tell their stories on TV”.
