CNNIC has provided the following data:

– There are 1.8 million .CN domain names

– The registration of .CN domains increased by 64.4% in last one year

– 75.9% of Chinese Internet users (104 million people) use broadband connections

– Total domain names in China reached 4,109,020

– By the end of 2006, China had 4.47 billion webpages and 122,306 GB of webpage contents

– The Internet penetration in Beijing exceeded 30%.
