China.com, an Internet services provider in China and a Hong Kong listed subsidiary of CDC Corporation, has acquired a 5% interest in Beijing Menlo Network Science Limited, the owner and operator of Menllo.com, a Web 2.0 online community in China.


China.com, an Internet services provider in China and a Hong Kong listed subsidiary of CDC Corporation, has acquired a 5% interest in Beijing Menlo Network Science Limited, the owner and operator of Menllo.com, a Web 2.0 online community in China.

Under the terms of acquisition, China.com is going to provide Menllo.com with strategic market coverage for one year. China.com will also have the right to appoint a director to the Board of Menllo.com, according to CDC Corporation.

This investment will enable CDC Mobile to integrate Web2.0 content with 3G services in China.
