blinkx, a video search engine, has launched ‘blinkx it’, a free tool to enable bloggers insert relevant video streams into their blogs.

“blinkx it” will enable the users to become broadcasters, and to enhance their blogs or websites with customized video channels, according to blinkx.

Bloggers and webmasters can install “blinkx it” on personal blogs, websites, or MySpace pages from blinkx.com.

Suranga Chandratillake, founder and CTO, blinkx, said: “With the explosion of online video, users everywhere – from bloggers to fan site hosts and many places in between – are asking for new ways to inject the excitement of video into what was, until recently, a text- and picture-based medium.
