hakia, the Web’s new meaning-based search engine, has announced the launch of its main data center in Newark, New Jersey.

The datacenter will support hakia’s new infrastructure, based on a QDEXing system. The Newark data center is the central operations hub for all of hakia’s data centers, according to hakia.

Cory Booker, Mayor, Newark, said: “Companies like hakia are finding that Newark makes economic and geographic sense as a data center. We are glad that hakia has made Newark its home”. [source]
