In the process of submitting your name and email address, you’ll have the opportunity to review and opt-in to other products and services, this is called co-registration. The same thing takes place during the purchase process as well, if you have ever seen offers that are somewhat but not completely related to the product you are purchasing, ones that you to sign up for, it’s called co-registration.
Co-registration is used by marketers, large and small to build their customer list. Craft your offer to compel your target market to action. Your offer should also sort out those people who are not your target market. You want to focus on the right people, the ones who will purchase your product. Craft the offer to exclude the people who won’t buy, and include your target market – the buyers!
