Hearst Magazines Digital Media, the online unit of Hearst Magazines, has acquired eCRUSH.com, an online community network for teens and young adults.

Hearst has acquired the following online properties operated by eCRUSH.com:

– eCRUSH – the original “crush” site

– eSPIN – a profile-based site that offers the old junior-high game with a modern twist

– HighSchoolStyleBoard – a photo-rating site.
