How you start out is crucial
The first thing you need to do when writing copy is to immediately grab the attention of your readers. The first line they see should tell them instantly if what you have to offer is exactly what they are looking for.
It’s way too easy for potential customers to read the first line and click away if you don’t give them something to captivate them right off the bat. Give them something they want and then pull them into wanting more.
You can accomplish this by using a big, bold headline and then following it with informational sub-headlines. No matter whether you are writing a sales letter, a simple article or an ecommerce page; BIG AND BOLD get noticed!
Forget cute and clever headlines…give your visitors the straight goods. They don’t want to read through something that is all cutesy and funny, period. Make your headline something different from everyone else. Grab their attention by telling them what they’ll learn buy staying at your site, how much money they’ll save or whatever you offer your visitors. Straight forward, to the point, no nonsense. Long or short, it doesn’t matter as long as it gets your point across and keeps your visitor interested.
Take care,
