Think Partnership Data

Think Partnership has provided the following data:

– From December 19 – 25, the number of online shopping carts decreased by 80% over the previous weeks

– The heaviest online shopping day in terms of carts created was Monday

– The shopping cart abandonment rate was lowest on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Chad Herman, director of Second Bite business development for Think Partnership, said: “The online shopping statistics show that there is a growing and continued comfort with buying online, reliance on shipping and arrival of those products on time,

It is also interesting to note that the days when the most online shopping carts were created had lower cart abandonment rates, meaning consumers did more than just window shop online this holiday season”. [source]
