“The PC industry relies heavily on the Web for sales of complex, configurable products. So how good is the experience of configuring PCs on the Web, and how do rich Internet applications (RIAs) and HTML configurators compare?
To find out, we graded the configurators of six leading PC manufacturers – three rich Internet and three HTML applications. While RIAs outscored HTML applications on average for 13 of our 15 evaluation criteria, only rich Internet-enabled applications from Dell and HP received overall passing scores in Forrester’s expert evaluations.” [source]
