– Remotely-controlled botnets can send up to 1 billion messages in just few hours
– In 2006, global spam rate was 45% -98% varying by target audience, with a global average of 87%
– eBay and Paypal remain top targets for fraud
– eBay and Paypal were the targets in 50% of all phishing attempts.
