Google has launched new Google Toolbar 3 Beta for Firefox which enables the users to open documents on the web directly with Google Docs & Spreadsheets.

The new toolbar allows users to open most popular file types in Google Docs & Spreadsheets. Users can click on a link to open the document in Google Docs & Spreadsheets.
Users can also drag file icons from their desktop to browser and have them automatically imported into D&S.
Users will have to enable these features from the “Options” menu of their Google Toolbar 3 Beta for Firefox.
Ken Norton, Product Manager, Google Docs & Spreadsheets, says: “Being able to drag and drop files directly has really streamlined my day. Maybe I can even use that free time to catch up on my holiday shopping. And since you asked, Google Docs & Spreadsheets is a handy way to manage your shopping lists!” [source]
