Pew Internet has provided the following data:

– 27% of US adults have looked online for information about housing

– 51% of the youngest adult American internet users (18 to 29 years old) have looked online for information about housing

– 9% of online Americans ages 18 to 29 looked for housing information daily in August 2006

– By August 2006, about 51% of all internet users have taken virtual tours

– 30% have used online classified ads or sites such as Craigslist.
