33% of online US adults have used a Q&A Web site. 52% said that information from a Q&A site has influenced the decisions they have made, according to a survey commissioned by Yahoo! and conducted by Harris Interactive.

Harris Interactive Findings
Key findings of Harris Interactive survey include:
– 96% of online adults have searched for various types of information on the Internet, including current and breaking news
– 83% looked for reviews of consumer electronics
– 82% used Q&A for advice on travel or trip planning
– 79% of them feel that using a Q&A site, they could get answers in minutes.
