The average keyword price paid by online advertisers increased by 16.5% to $1.48 in the third quarter of 2006, according to the Keyword Price Index from Fathom Online, a provider of Search Marketing services to the Fortune 1000.


The average keyword price paid by online advertisers increased by 16.5% to $1.48 in the third quarter of 2006, according to the Keyword Price Index from Fathom Online, a provider of Search Marketing services to the Fortune 1000.

In first and second quarters of 2006, the average keyword prices were $1.39 and $1.27 respectively.
