Anonymous Email Forwarding

“When a member sends a message through eBay and has chosen to hide their email address, eBay will create anonymous email addresses for both receiver and the sender.

Receiver can then reply to emails directly from their email client just like other emails. When the response comes back into eBay’s systems, the system will forward it to the appropriate recipient.” [source]

The anonymous email forwarding service will help members communicate with one another maintain the privacy, according to eBay.

The anonymous email forwarding service will be launched near the end of this month.

More information about Anonymous Email Forwarding are available on the eBay Information Page.
